The following correspondence was forwarded to the website by Michael Stone from Full Sutton Prison in September 2004 and is published here with his written permission. It must be stressed again that there is not a shred of forensic evidence connecting Stone to the Chillenden murders, and what little evidence there is, appears to indicate that some other individual(s) was/were responsible. One of the things Stone’s legal team have been pushing for is a fuller forensic analysis of a partial fingerprint found on Dr Russell’s lunchbox. This correspondence demonstrates clearly that the legal authorities have been stonewalling, almost certainly in the knowledge that any such further analysis will point the finger towards someone else, probably an as yet unidentified individual, and therefore totally exonerate Stone.
